Unlike exterior color options, the choice of colors for car interiors tends to be limited to a select few, such as black, gray, beige, or brown. While these colors are indeed ideal for car interiors for various reasons, there are instances where an individual may desire a sportier cabin color, like red.
Although cars with red interiors are less common than those with black or gray ones, they exist, and their numbers have increased in recent years.
In this article, I will showcase more than 60 cars available with red interiors, each of which I have personally verified. For your information, the models I will highlight are from the 2023/2024 model year.
Acura
Acura is the performance and luxury division of the Japanese automaker, Honda. Acura is renowned for producing cars that are reliable and high-performing and synonymous with sporty exterior and interior designs.
Currently, all Acura models offer an option for a red cabin color. These models include:

Audi
Audi, renowned as a luxury car brand, is celebrated for its meticulously crafted interiors, made from the finest materials and equipped with the latest features.
The following Audi car lines available in the United States offer an option for red interior colors:

Audi designates this vivid interior color as ‘Arras Red.’ However, it’s important to note that buyers must pay an additional fee to opt for the red interior.
BMW
As a luxury car manufacturer, BMW is renowned for offering meticulously crafted interiors using the finest materials, coupled with high-end features.
BMW offers red interiors for some of its vehicle models; however, buyers might need to spend extra to opt for this sporty interior color.

Chevrolet

Adrenaline Red, a bright and dynamic color, prominently adorns the seats, while the doors and dashboard maintain a sleek black appearance, highlighted with refined red stitching accents.

Dodge is well-known as a car manufacturer that symbolizes the performance street concept. Dodge cars boast a rugged exterior, epitomizing the American Muscle Car style, with the Dodge Challenger being one of the most iconic models.

Genesis
Genesis, the luxury car division of Hyundai, offers premier luxury cars that stand out for their relative affordability compared to their competitors.
The interiors of Genesis cars are renowned for being exceptionally chic, rivalling the esteemed reputations of brands like Audi and Mercedes. Genesis embodies a design concept that seamlessly blends class with sportiness. They offer red color options for the interiors of some of their car models, including:
- Genesis G70 Sport
- Genesis G70 Shooting Brake
- G90
- G90 Long Wheelbase
- G80
- Genesis GV70
Honda
I’m a fan of Honda cars, but one aspect that often disappoints me is the quality of the cabin and the interior color options they provide. Unlike Hyundai or Kia, who dare to experiment with new colors, Honda tends to play it safe with their interior color choices. Black is a very common color, with some cream and beige being an option.
However, there is one exception: the Honda Civic Type R, which boasts a vibrant red interior. Unsurprisingly, Honda has opted for red in the Civic Type R, as this sporty color perfectly complements the car’s racing-style aesthetic.
Jaguar
Jaguar currently offers two models with a red interior option. This vibrant choice, termed “Mars Red” by Jaguar, is a deep red hue that graces the seats, dashboard, and door trims. The red interior imbues the Jaguar with a simultaneously sporty and luxurious appeal.

Kia
Kia boasts two sporty sedans, the Stinger and the K5. Both are available with a red interior option, which Kia refers to as Red SynTex seat trim in the K5 and Red Nappa in the Kia Stinger.
The Kia Stinger and K5 are cars loaded with abundant features, well-crafted interiors, powerful engines, and impressive fuel economy, all at an affordable price. The K5 and Stinger stand out as some of the most value-for-money cars this year.
Lexus
Lexus offers red color options for some of its car models. Lexus names its rich red hue “Rioja Red”, which predominantly adorns the seats and armrests. In the Lexus NX, another red variant is available, referred to as “Circuit Red”. This shade is lighter and exudes a sportier appearance.
There are at least five Lexus models available with red interiors, including:

- Lexus NX
- Lexus NX Hybrid

Mazda
Mazda, the Japanese car manufacturer, offers a selection of red interiors, but this option is limited to certain models and types.
Mazda designates its red color simply as “Red Leather.” However, in my observation, the red used in these Mazda cars is rather dark, almost resembling a burnt maroon shade.

Nissan
The Nissan GT-R is the only Nissan car available with a red interior color.
Nissan has meticulously incorporated the red color into the GT-R’s interior; it prominently features almost the entire cabin, including the steering wheel and dashboard.
Named “Red Amber,” this shade is a dark red that leans towards maroon. It’s not overly flashy, but that works to its advantage, maintaining the interior’s elegance in this sports car.
Porsche
As luxury sports cars, Porsches unsurprisingly come equipped with interiors that are both sporty and elegant. From the 911 series to the Cayenne, a vibrant red interior option, referred to as Bordeaux Red, is available.
Bordeaux Red is a lush, deep red color that leans towards maroon. This color choice within these Porsche cars successfully evokes a sporty ambiance while preserving the cabin’s luxurious appeal.
Personally, I truly admire the implementation of the red color in Porsche cars. It is thoughtfully applied in just the right proportions—neither too excessive nor too sparse.

Toyota
As one of the largest car manufacturers in the world, Toyota offers limited color options for its car interiors. Currently, only three models are available with red interiors, which are restricted to specific types.
The Toyota Camry XSE is one of the select few furnished with a red interior. In the Camry, red primarily adorns the seats, armrest, and center console, with slight touches also found on the door trim.
